Making a Donation

There is an option of making a donation by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), cash, cheque, debit order or a gift-in-kind.

Making a once-off contribution

When making a once-off contribution or an EFT, please use the bank account details as indicated above and use your surname + the year in which you left Selborne as the reference. Cheques are payable to The Selborne Foundation Trust and can be posted or delivered to Foundation House, 4 Dawson Road, Selborne, East London, South Africa, 5201.

Providing a gift-in-kind

This is a non-cash gift such as a camera for the Photography Club or the waiver of professional fees by an architect for a new building etc.  If you would like to contribute a gift-in-kind, please contact Vicki Gardner at the Selborne Foundation Office on +27 (0)43 722 0125 or

Remembering Selborne in your Will

When remembering Selborne in your Will you have the option of drafting a new Will or adding a Codicil to your existing Will. Each page of the Will or Codicil must be signed by the Testator/Testatrix, and their signature must be witnessed by any competent person over the age of 14, with the exception of the following:

    A beneficiary/heir or his/her spouse
    A guardian, executor, trustee or their spouse

The original Will or Codicil should be given to your executor for safe-keeping.

The Selborne Foundation Trust would appreciate being advised in respect of a bequest made to it as the Trustees wish to acknowledge the bequest during the lifetime of the donor. All correspondence will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
